The 133rd China Import and Export Fair (Canton Fair for short), a comprehensive international trade fair in China, will be held from April 15 to May 5, 2023, combining online and offline activities. More than 9,000 new exhibitors will participate in the fair.

The Canton Fair is an important window for China's opening up, an important platform for foreign trade, and an important channel for enterprises to explore the international market. The previous Canton Fair has attracted wide attention from the global business community and all sectors of society. Since 2020, in order to cope with the impact of the epidemic, the Ministry of Commerce has created new ways to hold the Canton Fair online for six consecutive times, which has played a positive role in unblocking the industrial chain and supply chain of foreign trade and stabilizing the basic trade of foreign investment. With the optimization and adjustment of China's epidemic prevention and control policies, Chinese and foreign enterprises are now qualified to participate in the fair offline, and the fair will be fully resumed in the spring of this year.

As a window of China's foreign trade, this year's Canton Fair has opened the exhibition area D, which has expanded from 1.18 million square meters to 1.5 million square meters.
