The Paris Olympics are currently underway. Chinese athletes gather under the Five Rings flag with athletes from various countries and regions around the world. The Paris Olympics is not only a feast for sports competition, but also a stage for cultural exchange. From the beginning, the "Chinese jersey" worn by Chinese athletes has attracted much attention.
The design of the award gown inherits the classic Chinese style pattern and the main color tone of white space, and combines the "dragon" element with embossed patterns, splicing, embroidery and other techniques. At the same time, the use of environmentally friendly fabrics such as recycled nylon in the production process of award gowns helps to reduce carbon emissions, with the award gowns achieving over 50% carbon reduction.
Recycled nylon, also known as nylon recycling, is generally produced by melting and granulating nylon yarn, nylon filament, or nylon cloth. Recycled nylon materials produced from nylon yarn, or nylon fabric have lower impurities; Recycled nylon materials made from block materials and crushed product materials have relatively high impurities, with exceptions. Nylon fibers or nylon yarns are bundled clean, and the regenerated nylon produced can approach the color and properties of new nylon materials. The quality of recycled nylon produced from bundles of scrapped nylon fabric is better than that produced from nylon fabric corners. Recycled nylon has good wear resistance, heat resistance, oil resistance, and chemical resistance. It also greatly reduces the water absorption and shrinkage of raw materials, and has excellent dimensional stability and mechanical strength.
At the 2024 Paris Olympics, we hope that Chinese athletes will show China's sports spirit and cultural style to the world.
