Twine can be used for a variety of light-duty bundling and binding applications. Natural fiber twine, including cotton and jute, is biodegradable and has a slightly lower cost. Excellent for parcel shipping, meatpacking and food service, and sewing applications. Synthetic twine, including nylon and polypropylene, offers high resistance to abrasion, rot, mildew, and chemicals. Commonly used in more demanding applications, such as lumberyard binding and bundling, manufacturing, and fishing.
